I’ll Follow You, Just in Case,

I’ll Follow You, Just in Case is a participatory performance that explores the dynamics of care and support. In this work, the artist fastens a transfer/walking belt around a participant and moves through the gallery alongside them. Typically used to assist people with mobility, the support belt becomes a tool for shared navigation—moving together from object to object in the gallery. Here, the participant leads while the artist offers subtle, attentive support, creating a “shadow effect” as their movements intertwine.
