Live Endurance Performance, Before, then and now, Duration 2 hours. The live performance is a live iteration of the video Performance Bound by Longing, 2016.
For two hours, I lift my family photo albums one by one, and as I pile them, the weight grows heavier. I pile the albums on my chest, then lift them and balance them above my head. They sway, and it is up to me to balance them and move with them to ensure they don't fall. When they slip and fall to the floor around me or hit my body, I pick them up, realign them, strengthening them, to hold form while I lift and push them up again.
